Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Cement and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.83% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280), which rose 9.88% or 0.66 points to trade at 7.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) added 7.69% or 2.00 points to end at 28.00 and Hail Cement Company (SE:3001) was up 6.92% or 0.74 points to 11.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which fell 2.32% or 0.24 points to trade at 10.10 at the close. Savola Group (SE:2050) declined 1.88% or 0.60 points to end at 31.25 and Arabian Centres Co (SE:4321) was down 1.49% or 0.45 points to 29.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 48 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) rose to 52-week highs; rising 7.69% or 2.00 to 28.00. Shares in Hail Cement Company (SE:3001) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.92% or 0.74 to 11.44.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.30% or 0.18 to $59.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.45% or 0.29 to hit $64.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.35 to trade at $1471.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.1601, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 97.415.
