Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Petrochemicals and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.95% or 1.74 points to trade at 19.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.85% or 2.42 points to end at 27.00 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 6.17% or 2.30 points to 39.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which fell 3.91% or 0.50 points to trade at 12.28 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 3.60% or 0.50 points to end at 13.40 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) was down 2.12% or 1.10 points to 50.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 31 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.54 to $60.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.41% or 0.99 to hit $71.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1205.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.63% to 4.2257, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 97.22.
