Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.82% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 9.99% or 3.55 points to trade at 39.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 9.98% or 2.140 points to end at 23.580 and Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) was up 9.95% or 2.10 points to 23.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Food Products Co. (SE:2100), which fell 4.14% or 7.80 points to trade at 180.40 at the close. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) declined 3.42% or 2.90 points to end at 81.80 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was down 3.34% or 0.78 points to 22.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 106 to 86 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.99% or 3.55 to 39.10. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.98% or 2.140 to 23.580. Shares in Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.95% or 2.10 to 23.20.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.41% or 0.25 to $61.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $64.29 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.60 to trade at $1806.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.5572, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 90.162.
