Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which rose 10.00% or 1.18 points to trade at 12.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Marke (SE:4006) added 10.00% or 2.10 points to end at 23.10 and Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) was up 6.38% or 2.70 points to 45.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 5.12% or 1.55 points to trade at 28.70 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 4.75% or 1.80 points to end at 36.10 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was down 3.40% or 3.30 points to 93.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 81 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Marke (SE:4006) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.10 to 23.10.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 4.54% or 1.07 to $24.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 4.82% or 1.42 to hit $30.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 21.00 to trade at $1704.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.12% to 4.0728, while USD/SAR rose 0.07% to 3.7575.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 99.773.
