Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Centres Co (SE:4321), which rose 9.09% or 2.00 points to trade at 24.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Astra Industrial Group (SE:1212) added 7.55% or 2.85 points to end at 40.60 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) was up 4.87% or 1.45 points to 31.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which fell 3.64% or 1.100 points to trade at 29.100 at the close. Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) declined 2.38% or 2.80 points to end at 114.80 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 2.36% or 0.85 points to 35.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 56 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.39% or 1.64 to $70.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.15% or 1.54 to hit $73.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1796.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.2376, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7545.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 96.425.
