Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Transport, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.79% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005), which rose 10.00% or 12.40 points to trade at 136.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and United Wire Factories Company (TADAWUL:1301) was up 7.64% or 1.88 points to 26.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170), which fell 8.03% or 1.62 points to trade at 18.56 at the close. Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250) declined 5.51% or 1.65 points to end at 28.30 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was down 4.98% or 0.68 points to 12.98.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 184 to 83 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) fell to 5-year lows; falling 4.98% or 0.68 to 12.98.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.90% or 1.57 to $80.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.87% or 1.62 to hit $85.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 6.40 to trade at $1,999.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.03% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.01% at 104.91.
