Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Retail and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.77% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 4.35% or 1.06 points to trade at 25.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) added 3.85% or 0.28 points to end at 7.55 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 3.65% or 2.30 points to 65.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which fell 1.76% or 1.50 points to trade at 83.50 at the close. Bonyan REIT (SE:4347) declined 1.61% or 0.14 points to end at 8.56 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 1.45% or 0.40 points to 27.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 69 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) rose to 3-years highs; up 4.35% or 1.06 to 25.40.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.09% or 0.04 to $42.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.29% or 0.13 to hit $45.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 3.20 to trade at $1952.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.66% to 4.4475, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 92.942.
