Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.75% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081), which rose 7.79% or 12.20 points to trade at 168.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) added 6.34% or 3.40 points to end at 57.00 and Seera Group Holding (TADAWUL:1810) was up 4.23% or 1.05 points to 25.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 6.35% or 1.04 points to end at 15.34 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) was down 4.37% or 0.58 points to 12.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 104 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.79% or 12.20 to 168.80. Shares in Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.34% or 3.40 to 57.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.20% or 0.14 to $71.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $75.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.25 to trade at $2,011.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 103.74.
