Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (SE:2082), which rose 5.40% or 4.30 points to trade at 84.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 4.92% or 9.20 points to end at 196.20 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) was up 4.21% or 0.95 points to 23.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832), which fell 9.86% or 11.20 points to trade at 102.40 at the close. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) declined 2.30% or 0.46 points to end at 19.52 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240) was down 1.94% or 0.55 points to 27.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 93 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.33% or 0.25 to $76.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.27% or 0.21 to hit $79.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 3.65 to trade at $1802.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.30% to 4.2463, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7542.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 96.120.
