Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which rose 10.00% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 9.92% or 5.10 points to end at 56.50 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312) was up 9.74% or 1.60 points to 18.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009), which fell 6.25% or 2.00 points to trade at 30.00 at the close. Alujain Corporation (TADAWUL:2170) declined 3.98% or 1.95 points to end at 47.00 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) was down 3.75% or 7.20 points to 184.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 179 to 56 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 5.02% or 4.43 to $92.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 4.31% or 4.08 to hit $98.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 3.36% or 54.80 to trade at $1,685.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 2.11% to 3.74, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.89% at 110.68.
