Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.72% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which rose 9.99% or 1.54 points to trade at 16.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) added 9.92% or 1.02 points to end at 11.30 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) was up 9.89% or 1.04 points to 11.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Riyad Bank (SE:1010), which fell 3.21% or 0.78 points to trade at 23.50 at the close. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) declined 3.06% or 0.85 points to end at 26.95 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was down 2.80% or 0.26 points to 9.03.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 122 to 68 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.57% or 0.34 to $60.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.47% or 0.31 to hit $65.65 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1480.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.07% to 4.1817, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.762.
