Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Financial Services and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020), which rose 9.49% or 1.04 points to trade at 12.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 3.76% or 2.50 points to end at 69.00 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 3.23% or 0.34 points to 10.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which fell 5.83% or 1.55 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) declined 3.44% or 0.80 points to end at 22.44 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) was down 2.60% or 1.60 points to 60.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.42% or 1.27 to $53.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.31% or 1.42 to hit $62.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.15 to trade at $1318.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.2356, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.713.
