Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.65% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Paper Co (TADAWUL:1202), which rose 8.83% or 2.75 points to trade at 33.90 at the close. Meanwhile, CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 7.71% or 1.62 points to end at 22.62 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.69% or 0.01 points to 0.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300), which fell 3.86% or 0.58 points to trade at 14.44 at the close. Alinma Retail REIT Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4345) declined 3.33% or 0.16 points to end at 4.64 and Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) was down 3.19% or 3.10 points to 94.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 132 to 127 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) fell to all time lows; losing 3.19% or 3.10 to 94.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.89% or 0.64 to $72.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.02% or 0.78 to hit $77.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.90 to trade at $2,036.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.52% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.19.
