Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.64% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 9.95% or 1.84 points to trade at 20.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) added 9.94% or 3.10 points to end at 34.30 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) was up 9.93% or 2.12 points to 23.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290), which fell 6.96% or 1.87 points to trade at 24.98 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) declined 6.83% or 1.54 points to end at 21.00 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was down 4.62% or 1.04 points to 21.46.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 94 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.94% or 3.10 to 34.30. Shares in Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.93% or 2.12 to 23.46.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.13% or 0.05 to $37.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.30% or 0.12 to hit $39.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 21.40 to trade at $1969.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.4567, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 92.920.
