Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281), which rose 6.85% or 4.70 points to trade at 73.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) added 5.43% or 1.40 points to end at 27.20 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) was up 5.32% or 0.86 points to 17.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040), which fell 4.42% or 1.80 points to trade at 38.95 at the close. Arabian Centres Co (TADAWUL:4321) declined 3.93% or 0.80 points to end at 19.56 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080) was down 3.76% or 1.70 points to 43.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 107 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.42% or 1.80 to 38.95.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.36% or 2.35 to $97.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.18% or 2.24 to hit $100.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 11.00 to trade at $1,752.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.87% to 3.82, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 106.96.
