Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.62% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220), which rose 9.98% or 0.86 points to trade at 9.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) added 9.97% or 0.38 points to end at 4.19 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was up 7.30% or 3.30 points to 48.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which fell 4.05% or 1.03 points to trade at 24.42 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 3.14% or 4.40 points to end at 135.60 and Saudi Cement Company (TADAWUL:3030) was down 2.96% or 1.70 points to 55.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 75 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.97% or 0.38 to 4.19.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.63% or 0.52 to $82.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.63% or 0.54 to hit $86.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.83% or 37.60 to trade at $2,017.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.41% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 101.29.
