Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 10.00% or 2.65 points to trade at 29.15 at the close. Meanwhile, SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 8.05% or 1.68 points to end at 22.56 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was up 6.03% or 1.28 points to 22.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Food Products Co. (SE:2100), which fell 3.26% or 1.30 points to trade at 38.60 at the close. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) declined 2.35% or 0.34 points to end at 14.10 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was down 1.81% or 0.20 points to 10.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 35 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.65 to 29.15. Shares in SABB Takaful (SE:8080) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.05% or 1.68 to 22.56.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 4.82% or 1.79 to $38.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 4.53% or 1.80 to hit $41.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.65 to trade at $1727.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 4.2267, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.888.
