Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140), which rose 7.00% or 3.50 points to trade at 53.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) added 5.56% or 3.00 points to end at 57.00 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) was up 5.04% or 12.00 points to 250.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which fell 9.95% or 2.04 points to trade at 18.46 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270) declined 9.90% or 2.85 points to end at 25.95 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:2350) was down 8.74% or 1.76 points to 18.38.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 156 to 67 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.95% or 2.04 to 18.46. Shares in Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.56% or 3.00 to 57.00. Shares in Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:4002) rose to all time highs; rising 5.04% or 12.00 to 250.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 5.76% or 5.88 to $96.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 5.60% or 5.94 to hit $100.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.82% or 35.20 to trade at $1,899.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.64% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 101.66.
