Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 6.14% or 1.750 points to trade at 30.250 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 6.06% or 1.06 points to end at 18.56 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 4.15% or 7.00 points to 175.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Batic Investments and Logistics Co (SE:4110), which fell 4.08% or 1.06 points to trade at 24.94 at the close. Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (SE:2281) declined 3.32% or 2.90 points to end at 84.50 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) was down 3.29% or 0.72 points to 21.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 61 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.18% or 0.13 to $72.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $75.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 4.40 to trade at $1806.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.2407, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7549.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.237.
