Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Building & Construction and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 10.00% or 3.65 points to trade at 40.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 9.98% or 2.26 points to end at 24.90 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was up 9.95% or 5.62 points to 62.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which fell 9.92% or 12.40 points to trade at 112.60 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) declined 2.66% or 0.70 points to end at 25.60 and The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) was down 2.37% or 0.60 points to 24.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 31 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 10.00% or 3.65 to 40.15.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.67% or 0.31 to $45.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.71% or 0.35 to hit $48.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.71 to trade at $1841.71 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.11% to 4.5536, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 90.767.
