Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which rose 4.77% or 0.82 points to trade at 18.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) added 4.47% or 0.98 points to end at 22.88 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was up 3.83% or 4.60 points to 124.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Mashaar REIT (SE:4337), which fell 2.80% or 0.22 points to trade at 7.65 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) declined 2.17% or 0.28 points to end at 12.64 and The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) was down 2.08% or 0.60 points to 28.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.83% or 4.60 to 124.60.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.94% or 1.70 to $59.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.85% or 1.83 to hit $65.99 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 9.55 to trade at $1410.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.2175, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 96.838.
