Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 3.83% or 0.37 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 3.39% or 0.95 points to end at 28.95 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 2.62% or 0.58 points to 22.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which fell 6.49% or 1.73 points to trade at 24.92 at the close. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) declined 3.99% or 1.10 points to end at 26.50 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was down 2.94% or 0.36 points to 11.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 84 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.09% or 0.81 to $73.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.14% or 0.96 to hit $83.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 15.00 to trade at $1190.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.2993, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 95.66.
