Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which rose 6.45% or 0.86 points to trade at 14.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) added 4.22% or 1.35 points to end at 33.35 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 3.96% or 0.82 points to 21.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which fell 4.92% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.92 at the close. Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) declined 3.39% or 1.55 points to end at 44.15 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was down 3.35% or 0.70 points to 20.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 68 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.22% or 1.35 to 33.35.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.33% or 0.97 to $73.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $77.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.90 to trade at $1255.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.4032, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 93.76.
