Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.54% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 9.94% or 9.00 points to trade at 99.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) added 9.93% or 1.34 points to end at 14.84 and Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) was up 9.92% or 1.72 points to 19.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which fell 4.08% or 1.15 points to trade at 27.05 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) declined 3.96% or 2.60 points to end at 63.10 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 3.69% or 1.40 points to 36.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 90 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.94% or 9.00 to 99.50. Shares in Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.93% or 1.34 to 14.84. Shares in Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.92% or 1.72 to 19.06.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.94% or 0.39 to $40.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.91% or 0.40 to hit $43.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $1888.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.4544, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 92.368.
