Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 9.98% or 1.96 points to trade at 21.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.87% or 1.32 points to end at 14.70 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) was up 9.30% or 4.80 points to 56.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which fell 1.81% or 1.50 points to trade at 81.40 at the close. Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) declined 1.78% or 1.40 points to end at 77.30 and Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) was down 1.77% or 1.00 points to 55.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 167 to 26 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.98% or 1.96 to 21.60. Shares in Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.87% or 1.32 to 14.70. Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) rose to all time highs; rising 9.30% or 4.80 to 56.40.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.45% or 1.41 to $42.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.35% or 1.45 to hit $44.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.24% or 22.60 to trade at $1840.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.11% to 4.2966, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 95.537.
