Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070), which rose 8.69% or 4.30 points to trade at 53.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.01 points to end at 0.15 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 6.49% or 6.80 points to 111.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140), which fell 4.92% or 0.90 points to trade at 17.38 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) declined 3.84% or 7.00 points to end at 175.40 and ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382) was down 3.61% or 0.72 points to 19.22.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 205 to 70 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) rose to all time highs; up 6.49% or 6.80 to 111.60.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.47% or 0.34 to $71.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.22% or 0.17 to hit $77.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 14.35 to trade at $2,039.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 104.17.
