Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.40% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 9.95% or 2.14 points to trade at 23.64 at the close. Meanwhile, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 5.94% or 1.70 points to end at 30.30 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 5.72% or 1.14 points to 21.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which fell 5.27% or 0.74 points to trade at 13.30 at the close. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) declined 2.15% or 0.20 points to end at 9.09 and Dur Hospitality (SE:4010) was down 1.98% or 0.48 points to 23.76.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 122 to 69 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.20% or 0.46 to $37.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.30% or 0.53 to hit $40.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.28% or 21.75 to trade at $1726.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.47% to 4.2559, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 96.382.
