Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.38% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230), which rose 9.88% or 2.50 points to trade at 27.80 at the close. Meanwhile, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) added 5.18% or 2.25 points to end at 45.70 and Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) was up 5.00% or 1.90 points to 39.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which fell 4.75% or 4.40 points to trade at 88.20 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) declined 3.60% or 5.80 points to end at 155.20 and Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:4007) was down 3.52% or 1.60 points to 43.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 107 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.48% or 0.39 to $82.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.78% or 0.68 to hit $88.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.55 to trade at $1,918.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 101.97.
