Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.37% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Development Co. (TADAWUL:2130), which rose 9.98% or 1.08 points to trade at 11.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015) added 9.80% or 0.30 points to end at 3.36 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) was up 9.73% or 2.23 points to 25.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which fell 5.20% or 1.80 points to trade at 32.80 at the close. Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) declined 4.36% or 0.74 points to end at 16.24 and Lumi Rental Co (TADAWUL:4262) was down 2.70% or 3.20 points to 115.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 196 to 79 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.73% or 2.23 to 25.15.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.61% or 0.47 to $76.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.56% or 0.46 to hit $81.14 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.65 to trade at $2,009.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 104.46.
