Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.37% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009), which rose 9.95% or 7.80 points to trade at 86.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282) added 6.34% or 4.70 points to end at 78.80 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was up 6.03% or 0.98 points to 17.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which fell 5.64% or 7.80 points to trade at 130.40 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) declined 5.26% or 9.00 points to end at 162.00 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) was down 3.03% or 1.70 points to 54.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 176 to 96 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009) rose to all time highs; rising 9.95% or 7.80 to 86.20.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.08% or 1.58 to $74.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.61% or 1.30 to hit $79.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.68% or 34.50 to trade at $2,091.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.01% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.13.
