Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.34% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200), which rose 10.00% or 4.15 points to trade at 45.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) added 9.95% or 5.90 points to end at 65.20 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) was up 6.24% or 1.16 points to 19.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which fell 6.67% or 2.95 points to trade at 41.30 at the close. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) declined 3.78% or 3.50 points to end at 89.00 and Seera Group Holding (TADAWUL:1810) was down 3.02% or 0.68 points to 21.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 89 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.12% or 0.82 to $74.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.72% or 0.56 to hit $78.70 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 4.85 to trade at $1,985.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 102.21.
