Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which rose 9.89% or 7.00 points to trade at 77.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) added 7.62% or 0.58 points to end at 8.19 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was up 7.19% or 2.25 points to 33.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111), which fell 2.73% or 7.60 points to trade at 270.40 at the close. Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) declined 2.33% or 8.80 points to end at 368.20 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) was down 2.24% or 1.05 points to 45.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 211 to 82 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.62% or 0.58 to 8.19.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.74% or 0.63 to $85.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.82% or 0.74 to hit $89.71 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $2,374.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 105.84.
