Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Retail and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.32% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 9.09% or 4.00 points to trade at 48.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) added 4.42% or 1.80 points to end at 42.55 and Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2001) was up 4.40% or 1.10 points to 26.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170), which fell 3.19% or 0.58 points to trade at 17.62 at the close. Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020) declined 3.04% or 1.40 points to end at 44.60 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) was down 2.70% or 3.20 points to 115.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 102 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.09% or 4.00 to 48.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.50% or 1.87 to $76.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.61% or 2.04 to hit $80.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $1,999.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.13, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 101.43.
