Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Multi Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.32% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 9.98% or 4.90 points to trade at 54.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) added 8.70% or 4.10 points to end at 51.20 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 7.17% or 3.40 points to 50.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230), which fell 4.87% or 1.65 points to trade at 32.20 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.71% or 1.50 points to end at 30.35 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070) was down 4.18% or 1.55 points to 35.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 80 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.98% or 4.90 to 54.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.39% or 0.56 to $40.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.61% or 0.68 to hit $42.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 21.75 to trade at $1948.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.4280, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 93.203.
