Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.32% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 3.47% or 0.46 points to trade at 13.70 at the close. Meanwhile, National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) added 3.39% or 1.90 points to end at 57.90 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was up 3.22% or 0.46 points to 14.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Riyad Bank (SE:1010), which fell 1.72% or 0.50 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) declined 1.59% or 0.14 points to end at 8.66 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) was down 1.27% or 0.22 points to 17.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 117 to 69 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.34% or 0.20 to $59.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.48% or 0.32 to hit $66.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.05 to trade at $1411.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.39% to 4.2054, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 96.947.
