Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.32% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which rose 4.50% or 1.12 points to trade at 26.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) added 3.77% or 0.80 points to end at 22.00 and Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) was up 3.41% or 0.31 points to 9.41 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which fell 2.00% or 0.48 points to trade at 23.50 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) declined 1.61% or 0.70 points to end at 42.90 and Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) was down 1.57% or 0.55 points to 34.55.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 93 to 87 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.20% or 0.12 to $60.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $66.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.55 to trade at $1413.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.2251, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.498.
