Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020), which rose 6.67% or 0.92 points to trade at 14.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) added 5.04% or 0.52 points to end at 10.84 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) was up 4.93% or 0.68 points to 14.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:2050), which fell 4.10% or 1.25 points to trade at 29.25 at the close. Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009) declined 3.55% or 1.45 points to end at 39.35 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was down 2.77% or 0.26 points to 9.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 77 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Savola Group (SE:2050) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.10% or 1.25 to 29.25. Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009) fell to all time lows; falling 3.55% or 1.45 to 39.35. Shares in Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.77% or 0.26 to 9.12.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.75% or 1.22 to $71.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.41% or 1.10 to hit $79.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 9.70 to trade at $1197.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.55% to 4.3335, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 95.54.
