Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Transport and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.30% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 9.95% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.89% or 1.62 points to end at 18.00 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) was up 6.18% or 0.68 points to 11.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bonyan REIT (SE:4347), which fell 3.15% or 0.28 points to trade at 8.60 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 2.81% or 0.54 points to end at 18.66 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was down 2.69% or 0.40 points to 14.48.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 70 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.15% or 0.88 to $40.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.46% or 0.63 to hit $42.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.25 to trade at $1819.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.2502, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.382.
