Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165), which rose 5.61% or 8.40 points to trade at 158.00 at the close. Meanwhile, SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263) added 5.42% or 14.20 points to end at 276.00 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 5.17% or 7.80 points to 158.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United International Holding (TADAWUL:4083), which fell 2.45% or 4.60 points to trade at 183.40 at the close. Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081) declined 2.43% or 0.36 points to end at 14.44 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) was down 2.43% or 0.90 points to 36.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 138 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) rose to all time highs; rising 5.17% or 7.80 to 158.80.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.68% or 0.50 to $74.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.60% or 0.46 to hit $76.97 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 2.91 to trade at $2,657.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.96% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.88% at 107.85.
