Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010), which rose 9.87% or 2.38 points to trade at 26.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) added 9.41% or 7.30 points to end at 84.90 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was up 8.22% or 1.26 points to 16.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282), which fell 6.84% or 5.40 points to trade at 73.60 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) declined 4.76% or 0.45 points to end at 9.01 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) was down 3.23% or 0.02 points to 0.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 143 to 128 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) rose to all time highs; up 9.41% or 7.30 to 84.90. Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) rose to 52-week highs; up 8.22% or 1.26 to 16.58.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.90% or 0.65 to $71.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.89% or 0.69 to hit $76.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 5.25 to trade at $2,041.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 104.03.
