Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which rose 9.99% or 1.78 points to trade at 19.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 9.93% or 3.45 points to end at 38.20 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 7.38% or 3.40 points to 49.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 5.03% or 2.00 points to trade at 37.80 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.64% or 1.80 points to end at 37.00 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was down 3.00% or 0.90 points to 29.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 87 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.99% or 1.78 to 19.60. Shares in Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) rose to all time highs; rising 9.93% or 3.45 to 38.20. Shares in Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 7.38% or 3.40 to 49.50.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.25% or 0.53 to $42.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.58% or 0.71 to hit $45.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 6.70 to trade at $1865.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.4616, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 92.050.
