Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Real Estate Development and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.25% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which rose 8.72% or 2.80 points to trade at 34.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) added 8.10% or 18.20 points to end at 243.00 and SICO Saudi REIT Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4337) was up 8.09% or 0.41 points to 5.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081), which fell 9.27% or 24.20 points to trade at 236.80 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 6.67% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Al Dawaa Medical Services Co (TADAWUL:4163) was down 6.60% or 7.40 points to 104.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 127 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) rose to all time highs; gaining 8.10% or 18.20 to 243.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.13% or 0.11 to $82.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $86.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.05 to trade at $2,161.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 103.54.
