Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002), which rose 5.03% or 3.40 points to trade at 71.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 3.70% or 4.00 points to end at 112.00 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (SE:2082) was up 3.36% or 2.50 points to 76.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which fell 4.20% or 1.50 points to trade at 34.20 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) declined 4.05% or 3.00 points to end at 71.00 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was down 3.33% or 5.00 points to 145.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 66 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.03% or 3.40 to 71.00. Shares in International Company for Water and Power Projects (SE:2082) rose to all time highs; up 3.36% or 2.50 to 76.80.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.55% or 0.46 to $83.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.54% or 0.46 to hit $84.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 6.35 to trade at $1789.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.3449, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.047.
