Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Retail and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.25% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 9.94% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) added 5.47% or 4.10 points to end at 79.10 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 4.91% or 1.04 points to 22.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which fell 3.22% or 3.60 points to trade at 108.20 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) declined 3.14% or 0.48 points to end at 14.82 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was down 2.65% or 0.90 points to 33.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 89 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.94% or 2.20 to 24.34. Shares in Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.91% or 1.04 to 22.24.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.63% or 0.68 to $42.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.42% or 0.63 to hit $45.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1946.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.4188, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 93.435.
