Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.92% or 2.27 points to trade at 25.15 at the close. Meanwhile, National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) added 6.25% or 6.40 points to end at 108.80 and Middle East Paper Co (TADAWUL:1202) was up 4.48% or 1.40 points to 32.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which fell 6.22% or 3.90 points to trade at 58.80 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070) declined 4.00% or 2.10 points to end at 50.40 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) was down 2.95% or 1.60 points to 52.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 93 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.92% or 2.27 to 25.15. Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.25% or 6.40 to 108.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.53% or 0.43 to $80.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.50% or 0.43 to hit $85.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 16.85 to trade at $1,837.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 104.61.
