Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which rose 9.99% or 1.70 points to trade at 18.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) added 7.54% or 1.26 points to end at 17.96 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) was up 7.07% or 0.86 points to 13.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which fell 7.82% or 4.20 points to trade at 49.50 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) declined 2.45% or 0.65 points to end at 25.90 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) was down 1.92% or 0.70 points to 35.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 50 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.07% or 0.54 to $49.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.36% or 0.74 to hit $53.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 5.35 to trade at $1578.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 4.0991, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 98.650.
