Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL:4100), which rose 7.88% or 7.80 points to trade at 106.80 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) added 7.34% or 2.40 points to end at 35.10 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) was up 7.23% or 1.85 points to 27.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (TADAWUL:5110), which fell 3.72% or 0.72 points to trade at 18.62 at the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) declined 2.65% or 0.90 points to end at 33.05 and Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) was down 2.56% or 0.75 points to 28.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 223 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.64% or 0.53 to $83.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.56% or 0.49 to hit $87.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.68% or 39.70 to trade at $2,318.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 105.89.
