Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which rose 10.00% or 1.40 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) added 9.97% or 2.20 points to end at 24.26 and Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) was up 9.94% or 1.64 points to 18.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140), which fell 3.30% or 0.82 points to trade at 24.00 at the close. Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) declined 2.53% or 1.40 points to end at 54.00 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was down 1.94% or 1.00 points to 50.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 67 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) rose to 3-years highs; up 10.00% or 1.40 to 15.40. Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.97% or 2.20 to 24.26. Shares in Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.94% or 1.64 to 18.14.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.88% or 0.38 to $43.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.37% or 0.17 to hit $46.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 15.25 to trade at $1938.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.4306, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.047.
