Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051), which rose 5.86% or 6.20 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) added 3.41% or 0.60 points to end at 18.20 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 2.96% or 1.10 points to 38.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090), which fell 3.08% or 0.60 points to trade at 18.86 at the close. Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:4141) declined 2.40% or 2.80 points to end at 113.80 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was down 2.25% or 2.00 points to 87.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 85 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.86% or 6.20 to 112.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.15% or 0.08 to $52.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $55.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.60 to trade at $1863.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.5568, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 90.293.
