Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 4.40% or 0.92 points to trade at 21.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 3.44% or 0.44 points to end at 13.22 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 3.29% or 0.58 points to 18.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which fell 4.23% or 0.52 points to trade at 11.76 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 3.74% or 0.44 points to end at 11.34 and Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) was down 2.82% or 0.48 points to 16.52.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 86 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $54.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $59.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 10.15 to trade at $1497.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.1715, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 97.292.
